HyperBabel is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of our developer customers in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable data protection laws.
HyperBabel's customers are developers and organizations, not end-consumers. However, when developers use HyperBabel APIs to build apps, metadata about their integration (usage, API keys, subscriptions) is processed by HyperBabel and is therefore subject to GDPR.

⚡ Sensitive fields (password hashes, Paddle customer IDs) are never included in data exports.

HyperBabel operates on globally distributed cloud infrastructure with multi-region data centers. Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent safeguards.
HyperBabel acts as a Data Controller for account and billing data. For message content sent through our APIs on your behalf, HyperBabel acts as a Data Processor, and you (the developer) are the Controller responsible for obtaining consent from your end users.
